2. How long have you been interested in dolls?
I saw some photos posted in djinn's livejournal and I fell in love with her boys at the end of the past year [2003]. Then, after I had seen some photos of SD Hiroshima Chris, I decided I absolutely had to buy a doll with the look of my Joel. 

3. How many SD dolls do you have?
Three: two Volks' SD13 dolls and a BlueFairy Pocket Fairy doll.

4. What is the name(s) of your doll(s)?
Joel, Two (of Spades) and Mischa. 

5. What type of SD do you have?
Joel: FCS SD13 old boy body, F28 head, normal skin.
Two: Link 1st limited head, FCS SD13 old boy body, normal skin.
Mischa: BlueFairy Pocket Fairy Peter.

6. Do you believe in Fate?
Hmm. Sometimes. But what's that got to do with dolls? XD;

7. Who is the manufacturer of your doll(s)?
Volks (Japan) and BlueFairy (Korea)

8. What was your first reaction when you saw your SD for the first time?
When I got Joel I immediately thought "OMG HE'S STUNNING!". 
I immediately checked both  eyebrows and lips to see if they matched drawings (they DID so damn well!) I had sent to Volks and I fell in love completely.
More or less this happened when I first saw Two's pretty sweet face, too... 

9. Have you shown your doll off at a Doll Show?
There's no real 'Doll Shows' here… and the italian fandom is not properly what I'd define 'nice'. People are quite snobbish.

10. Which do you prefer? Commercial SDs (such as Kyon customised dolls) or Customizing your own SD?
Commercial SDs are really beautiful, but I bought my little guys with a precise idea in mind… I think customized dolls are more special than the commercial ones, that's why I'm trying to customize Two to match his "paper self" :)

11. How do you feel about Commercial SDs?
Beautiful but expensive? Some are nice to see but they seem to lack of personality...

12. Did you create a personality/background for your doll(s)? If so, describe them!
Joel is the character of my so-called tale "Wonderland Overdrive" that I love the most. I can say I've built up the whole story just to gave him a background… Two is the second most favourite and one of the few that have an extensive and detailed beackground, as well. 13. What type of relationship do you have with your doll (ex. beloved daughter, friend)?
They're my little childrennn. 

14. Does your SD have a nickname?
Jo, and 'nano'. Nano (nah-no) is an italian word that usually means "short guy" or "dwarf", but in my dialect (I live in Milan, in the north of Italy) the same word means something like "little dude", "boy" in an endearment way. 
Two is just Two, or "bimbo" (baby).
Mischa could become a "Mickey" very quickly but we'll see...

15. What special meaning does your doll's name have?
I called him Joel just because I liked the sound XD; But his name has a couple of meanings in ebraic, like "God is willing", "Angel of God" and "celestial". I like to call him Joey too, which sounds like the word 'joy'... one of the things he brings in my life :) Two's name refers to the playing cards...  "to give the two of spades" means "replying point-blank" in italian anyway... 
Mischa was originally "Shylock" (because I like evil characters, yes) but then I sticked back with my old idea of having a Russian name for one of my dolls... Mischa sounds pretty cute, so I took it.

16. Does your SD have a special seat/place in your room? If so, where?
Oh, they sleeps around, or sits on their chairs, or just lies on my bed.

17. Did you buy a chair specifically for your SD?
Yes, a rocking chair. For now, at least.

18. Does your SD have accessories of her own? (ex. pets, toys, hairbrush...)
Joel's got his stuffled hare Lewis, and a couple of things of his own (hairclips, jewelry, tin toys etc.) Two has his spade earrings and share Jo's stuff. Some things belongs to both of them (tea sets, chairs...) 

19. What hard to find items do you wish you could get for your doll?
Well, all those little miniatures of food, for instance. 

20. What is the most expensive thing you've bought for your doll?
Clothes and (human) jewelry!

21. When you go out, do you take your doll with you?
So far, I haven't brought them anywhere. Mischa is so tiny I'll try to bring him at work, sooner or later...

22. If so, where have you taken your doll?

24. If you do take your doll out of the house, how do you carry him? (ex. SD violin case, backpack,etc)
Maybe the Volks' violin case or a bag just for them... or I'll bring them outside in my arms.

25. When you do take your doll out, is it easy to do or do you find it's more trouble than it's worth?

26. Does your doll have a friend? Do you think your doll wants a friend?
Ask Joel. I don't think he needs anyone else than Lewish and me, anyway. Two lives with the idea of his loved one in mind, so Jo's just a little child for him... I'm not even sure he thinks at me as his mother... 
As already said, Mischa is the little mysterious guy out there.

27. If you could build your dream FCS for free, what would it be?
They're already here :)

28. What is your favorite optional head?
F27, F08

29. What is your least favorite optional head?
All the female headmolds (aside the F08) are quite, err... scary.

30. What type of fantasy head would you like to see produced?
I don't care so much about fantasy heads, maybe 'cause I'm not much into fantasy characters and such. Cat's ears could be cute, anyway.

31. What is your favorite wig for your doll?
It depends. Joel is pretty in every wig he wear. :') But his best one is the Chris III's I bought. It matches his real hairstyle perfectly. I'm still searching for a good bicolored wig to match Two's real hairstyle.

32. What made you choose your SD out of all the various types?
Because they look so alive and real.

33. Do you change your SD's wig often and have you tried styling the wigs?
When them and me are tired of the one they're wearing.

34. How many wigs do you have?
A bunch.

35. How many shoes do you have for your doll? Does your doll have socks too?
Two pair of boots, four pair of sneakers, a pair of 'elegant' shoes... more to come, I think. They have some striped socks too.

36. What types of clothing does your doll wear? (name in order of favorite styles)
Oh. None of them have a specific style… I have a couple of clothing sets I like but they're only drawn, not realized yet. I like to picture Joel with 70's fashion, and in school uniform (european, not japanese XD), and Two in casual clothes or business suits...

37. Where do you purchase your SD clothing?
Online shops, trades and the rest is handmade.

38. Do you sew clothing for your doll?
I tried but I'm no good...

39. Do you plan on dressing your doll as an anime character? If so, who?
Not really. Jo's has his own personality and I don't like to picture him in cosplay, same goes for Two.

40. Do you make accessories for you doll? What kinds?
Jewerly, socks… simple things like that. XD I'd like to create some miniatures of food and stuff but I really don't know from where to begin…

41. Have you made doll items that you plan on selling?
Nope.

42. Do you sew/knit/crochet and for how long?
I'm trying to improve in sewing. My crochet skills are quite inexistant.

43. Is there a type of music that you listen to when you are with your doll?
Nope. *shrugs* I have some songs I easily relate to Joel, but this doesn't mean I listen to them all the time, when I play with him…

44. Have you ever thought about opening a doll shop?
Nope, it doesn't have any appeal to me.

45. Do you have a specific area in your home where you keep your dolls or customize them?
My room.

46. For how long did you know about SDs before you actually got your SD?
Hmm. One month?

47. Do you carry your doll around in the house?
Sure.

48. Is there a special place in your house that you like to sit with your doll?
My room.

49. What are the comments you have heard in regards to your doll, after others have seen it in person?
"He looks like a girl", "He's scary" (too many horror movies, i think :P), "He's gorgeous, he looks real!"

50. Does your doll have their own website?
Sure, this one. ;)

51. What is the color of your doll(s) eyes now? Also give the size of eyes too.
Zoumeikura gold brown A in 16mm. Joel's eyes are amber, so this color is quite fitting. I'm not interested in purchasing eyes with different colors… maybe some other shades of yellow/gold/amber/hazel. Two has some caramel eyes from SoulDoll, but I'm still searching the perfect ones - hazel ones with a deep green rim...

52. What is your favorite eye color for your doll(s) and why?
Joel: his default golden ones. Two: still searching. Mischa: his default hazel ones, because I like the color.

53. How often do you change the eyes?
I never Change Joel's and I change Two's only when I'm tired to see him wearing the same ones. This doesn't happen very often anyway. 

54. How many different pairs of eyes do you have for your doll?
four or five pairs. 

55. Do you believe your doll has a "soul"?
Maybe ;)

56. Do you talk to your doll?
Sure.

57. When talking to your doll, how does he address you?
'Mommy' (even Two).

58. How do men react to your doll?
Scared or interested. As all the other people out there.

59. What was your favorite childhood doll growing up and why?
I played a bit with Barbies, but I didn't like dolls when I was little… I preferred plushies and other toys.

60. Did you have to sell items from a personal collection to raise money to purchase your doll?
Yes, for Joel.

61. If so, what did you sell?
I sold some old series of comic to gain money for his clothes; I worked to pay the price of the doll, anyway.

62. How much do you spend on your doll a month? What is the maximum you would spend?
It really depends. From nothing to the whole price of a new doll...

63. Have you purchased something you regretted later?
A pink sweater, which's too little for a SD13 boy. I had to take off the velcro on the back to make it fitting, but the back of my boys remains naked XD; I also bought a couple of clothes I don't like anymore, I tried to cutomize them but I still don't like the result. :P (and they were quite expensive too, dang...) 

64. Do you like buying clothing sets for your doll?
Yes.

65. How often do you change your dolls clothing?
When I'm bored of the previous ones. XD

66. If you could take your doll anywhere with you in the world, where would that be?
Japannnnnnnnnnnn! Tokyo is so nice…

67. Have you ever done something to your SD and felt bad about it? (ex. leaving her naked all night, dropping her)
Nothing so far.

68. What paint brand do you use on your doll?

69. If you were stranded on a deserted island with your doll, what 3 things would you want for your doll to have?
Toys, some clothes, and a hairbrush.

70. Does your doll have a girlfriend/boyfriend?
Joel doesn't need any. Two's still waiting for me to bring his beloved one a body...

71. Does your doll have siblings (ex. brother/sister)?
Maybe djinn' Seishurou and Tsukisou are friends... since djinn is Joel's aunt. :') Joel and Two have some other online friends from all over the world. 

72. Will you pierce your doll's ears?
Two's left ear should be pierced soon.

73. Have you given your doll a manicure? What color?
They're boys...

74. Did you do the esthetic process on your doll?
Yes.

75. If so, are you glad you did?
Since I did very simple things, such as sanding the body and blushing it, yes.

77. If you could change anything they did with the SD body, what would it be?
Maybe optional hands or feet… or I'd buy the new improved boy body (which has a nicer... ehm, butt.)

78. Have you sueded and wired your doll?
Nope.

79. If your SD could be friends with any other SD, which SD would it be?
I don't know. Any advice? :'D

80. Do you plan to get more SDs in the future?
Maybe.

We'll see.

82. Do you change the paint on your SDs often?
I won't do it. Both Joel's and Two's faceup are PERFECT. Mischa will be customized sooner or later.

83. Does your SD have a favorite color?
Joel loves stripes and checkered fabrics. Two likes orange and blue.

84. In general, what is your SDs mood or look?
A… seventies' look, I think. Dunno, it depends.

85. Describe your SD's favorite outfit.
They don't care of clothes, really…

86. Does your SD have a formal name? What is it?
Joel is simply Jo. Two's real name is "prince Two of Hearts" but he doesn't like it and he prefers to use the name he uses at work (which is Two of Spades). I call him Two, period. :') 

87. Do you have an colored wigs for your SDs? (green or pink) Which ones?
I don't like colored wigs at ALL.

88. What SD would you like to see in the future?

Not at all!

Wonderland Overdrive's Fashion? *cough*

92. Is there any SDs you regret not buying?
My purpose wasn't to buy 'a doll', but to 'give Joel a body'. Some commercials' are very nice [Chris, Ken, Shirou, Cyndy...] but they're not Joel. ;)
I'm still trying to customize Two to make him looks more like Two and less like Link, if you know what I mean...

93. Do any of your friends own SDs?
I know some people that owns SDs but so far I've never meet them in real life…

94. Do you have SD get togethers?

95. Have you lied about the true cost of your SD to your family or friends?
I couldn't. My parents knows how much the doll costs and the other relatives… heh, they don't need to know.

96. Do you think of yourself as being obsessive about your SD? If so, explain?
I love my children so much, yes. I trait them like real little dudes, so I think I can be considered a bit 'obsessed' about them…

97. If the house was on fire, what would you grab first? Your SD, wallet, clothes or no time and save yourself?
My cat, the backup cd with all my drawings saved and my dolls.

98. Did you buy a digital camera only because you wanted to take pictures of your SD to show off online?
I borrowed one, then bought one for me - which doesn't work properly,  tho' :'(

99. If you passed on, who gets your SD? wife/husband/kids/best friend/no one...it goes with me! Explain why!
Heh. Maybe to one of my closest friends… but the real Joel wouldn't be separated from his mommy, and I suppose Two will come back home to stay with Reuben, so preserve his doll-body it's not really important. I'll give them to someone who knows them though. Joel is Joel and Two is Two, they cannot change name and personality. 

100. Do you think you'll ever tire of your SD? Why/Why not?
They're all my little loves, I couldn't feel tired of them…
